34 Social Housing Units on a site with highway and ground issues.

Cottsway Housing Association
Value
£6,000,000
The site investigation disclosed the presence areas of soft clays so a combination of trench fill and raft foundations were employed to support the timber frame houses.
Before the site could be developed various highway problems had to be overcome, which invoved changing the site access and designing offsite works under a Section 278 agreement.
The whole site is a good example of a combined SUDS appproach to surface water drainage, and the porous paved roads were all adoped by Oxfordshire Highways.
