• This development was undertaken on behalf of Catalyst Housing Group to provide much needed affordable housing with a variety of tenure options for Wallingford. Included within the scheme were some dwellings specifically designed for disabled residents. The development brief was to create a distinct character whilst respecting local detailing and materials and also to develop an interesting space with good enclosure.

• The conversion of existing housing to blend in with the new timber frame construction required bespoke design from our Structural department. The implementation of sustainable drainage techniques including adoptable permeable paving access road involved significant pre-planning engagement with the adopting and approving authorities. Oxfordshire County Council should be congratulated for their forward thinking attitude with regard to adoption of sustainable drainage features.
