The works involved widening the carriageway in order to accommodate the right turn lane.

  • This scheme is the first phase of a new quarry development by Smiths of Bletchingdon. The junction was designed in accordance with the Design Manual For Roads and Bridges to the approval of the local Highway Authority (Oxfordshire County Council) under a Section 278 Agreement of the Highways Act. Following the completion of the design, Gemma BDS administered the construction contract and supervised the works on site.
